Disk Defragmenter appears not to respond due to underestimated time.
Cause:
This is not a problem; the computer takes time in communication with Disk Defragmenter. Disk Defragmenter underestimated the amount of time it would take to defragment a certain area of the hard disk, and, therefore, did not allow enough reserve space.
Solution:
Do NOT exit Disk Defragmenter. Continue to let Disk Defragmenter run and defragment the hard drive as long as the hard drive light continues to blink.
